The College of Nursing and Midwifery at Al-Sibtain University is participating in organizing and hosting the Second International Scientific Conference on Nursing.


As part of its leading role in supporting scientific research and developing the nursing profession, the College of Nursing and Midwifery at Al-Sibtain University (peace be upon him) participated in organizing and hosting the Second International Scientific Conference on Nursing, held in the holy city of Karbala, under the theme:

 

"Towards Safer and Higher Quality Nursing Care: Present Challenges and Future Prospects." The conference witnessed broad scientific collaboration involving a number of academic institutions, including:

The University of Karbala, the University of Babylon, Al-Safwa University, and Ishtar University College participated in the conference, along with a select group of researchers and specialists from within Iraq and abroad. The conference also saw a distinguished official and academic presence, including the head of the Deans of Nursing Colleges Committee, the deans of nursing colleges, and a number of health and administrative leaders.

 

Also in attendance were the Governor of Holy Karbala, Engineer Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi; Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, President of the University of Karbala; the head of the Education Committee in the Provincial Council; the head of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate; the head of the Karbala Nursing Syndicate; the Director General of the Nursing Department at the Ministry of Health; and several directors of health institutions.
