Scientific and Humanitarian Visit to Imam Al-Hassan Center for Cardiac Surgery and Catheterization

As part of the student activities of the College of Medicine, a scientific visit was organized to Al-Turki Hassan Al-Mujtaba Hospital, including Imam Al-Hassan Center for Cardiac Surgery and Catheterization, with the aim of providing students with practical experience and introducing them to the nature of medical work and modern technologies used in diagnosing and treating heart diseases and catheter-based interventions.

The visit included a tour inside the center and an introduction to the medical equipment and the role of healthcare staff, which contributed to enhancing the students’ practical and academic skills and linking theoretical knowledge with clinical application.

The visit also carried a humanitarian aspect, as the students visited pediatric patients and provided them with moral support, aiming to strengthen human communication and instill compassion and social responsibility among medical students throughout their educational and professional journey
