Sha baniyah Student Initiative

In a distinguished initiative by the students of the College of Medicine at Al-Subtain University of Medical Sciences, and on the occasion of the blessed Sha‘baniyah days, first-year students actively participated alongside their peers in organizing and distributing commemorative gifts across the university corridors. The activity took place in an atmosphere filled with cooperation, compassion, and a strong sense of belonging.

This initiative reflects the students’ commitment to reviving religious and social occasions within the university environment, while strengthening the values of teamwork and volunteerism. It contributes to shaping a humane medical identity that combines scientific excellence with ethics and responsibility.

The activity also embodied a spirit of brotherhood and positive interaction among students, creating an uplifting atmosphere of joy and harmony across the campus, and highlighting the role of youth in building an active and impactful academic environment.

On this occasion, we emphasize the importance of continuing such student-led initiatives that foster a spirit of initiative and volunteer work, and we encourage students to:

  • Strengthen cooperation and teamwork across all academic levels.
  • Actively participate in university activities that develop personal and social skills.
  • Uphold the ethical and humanitarian values that define the medical student.
  • Utilize religious and social occasions to build a positive university environment.
  • Develop leadership skills and initiative from the early stages of study.

These activities are not merely student events; they represent an important step in shaping a conscious medical generation that combines scientific competence with a humanitarian mission.

This collaboration also reflects the academic openness and international engagement fostered through partnerships with institutions such as the University of Tehran, International Campus, contributing to a broader cultural and scientific exchange
