Al-Subtain University for Medical Sciences Deploys Fourth-Year Students to Hospitals for Advanced Clinical Training

Under the esteemed patronage and presence of the President of Al-Subtain University for Medical Sciences, Professor Dr. Rahim Mahdi Rahim,

and with the participation of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Fawzi Al-Qanbar,

alongside the Administrative Assistant Dr. Muhaimin Abdul Malik Abdul Jabbar and Dr. Hassanein Al-Alaka Al-Mousawi, in addition to a distinguished assembly of faculty members, the University organized today an official ceremony marking the deployment of fourth-year medical students to accredited teaching hospitals.

This significant milestone marks the formal commencement of the students’ clinical training phase, a critical stage in their medical education that bridges theoretical knowledge with hands-on clinical practice in real healthcare settings.


In his address, the University President underscored the strategic importance of this phase, emphasizing the University’s commitment to academic excellence, professional discipline, and adherence to the highest standards of medical ethics. He further highlighted the necessity for students to fully engage in practical learning experiences that align with globally recognized medical education standards.


The Dean of the College of Medicine affirmed that the clinical training program has been meticulously structured, ensuring the systematic distribution of students across a network of accredited hospitals. This approach guarantees a comprehensive and immersive learning environment aimed at preparing highly competent and socially responsible future physicians.
