In the Presence of Sacrifice: Subtain University Stands in Solemn Tribute to the Martyrs and in Solidarity with Resilient Nations

Amidst the halls of knowledge—which only flourish through the ink of sacrifice—and under the patronage of Professor Dr. Rahim Mahdi Rahim, President of Sibtayn University, and Professor Dr. Mohammed Fawzi Al-Qanbar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, our college held a profound solidarity vigil. It was a moment where the depth of loyalty met the strength of resolve, serving as a silent prayer in the sanctuary of the martyrs who granted us life through their ultimate sacrifice.

This was more than a formal event; it was a renewed covenant. The university’s voice resonated through the address of the President, who affirmed that the souls of the martyrs are the compass that shall never stray from the truth. This was echoed by the Dean, whose words carried a message of brotherhood and shared destiny, emphasizing—with unwavering faith—the necessity of standing hand-in-hand with the peoples of Lebanon and Iran. It was a call for human solidarity that transcends borders to paint a portrait of collective resilience.

The vigil reached its emotional peak as the attendees gathered for a final group photograph—a visual embodiment of a single, unified soul. Hearts stood before bodies to declare to the world: "We live through the memory of those who fell, and we remain strong through our bond with those who persevere." This stand remains a lighthouse, guiding the path of our promising medical generation.
