Overview

Sayyidah Khadija Al-Kubra Specialty Hospital for Women is a tertiary teaching hospital dedicated to women’s health, providing comprehensive obstetric, gynecological, neonatal, and multidisciplinary medical and surgical services. The hospital offers students extensive clinical exposure through inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, operating theatres, labor and delivery units, neonatal intensive care, emergency services, and diagnostic imaging. Students participate in supervised patient care as members of the healthcare team.

Gynecology

Students will gain exposure to:

* Attendance at all assigned clinical activities is mandatory.

* Students should actively participate in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, labor and delivery, operating theatres, emergency units, and NICU teaching sessions under supervision.

* Professional attire and hospital identification badges are required at all times.

* Patient privacy, confidentiality, and ethical standards must be strictly maintained.

* Students are expected to prepare for clinical sessions, review assigned cases, and engage in self-directed learning following each patient encounter.

* Clinical procedures may only be performed under the direct supervision of the responsible faculty member or resident physician.
