The Arab Board at Al-Subtain University: World-Class Infrastructure Enhancing International Academic Integration

Al-Subtain University for Medical Sciences explored prospects for academic integration and international openness during its reception of a high-level delegation from the Arab Board of Health Specializations.

The delegation included Professor Dr. Hatyoush Faraj Hatyoush, President of the Arab Board for General Surgery and former Libyan Minister of Health, Dr. Laith Al-Kaabi, Head of the Arab Board Committee for Cardiac Surgery, along with committee members from Egypt, Jordan, and Tunisia, accompanied by Dr. Sabah Al-Mousawi, Director of the National Center for Clinical Training.

During a field tour, the delegation reviewed the university’s advanced infrastructure, modern laboratories, educational and clinical skills halls, and training facilities equipped according to the latest international standards, all of which support the quality of medical education and clinical training.

The delegation praised the university’s scientific capabilities and accredited educational methods, emphasizing that they provide an advanced academic environment capable of preparing medical professionals at international standards and contributing to the healthcare sector with graduates who possess high-level scientific and clinical competencies.

At the conclusion of the visit, Al-Subtain University for Medical Sciences was selected as a center for conducting the final-stage examinations of the Arab Board for the next academic year in the specialty of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery, a step that reflects the growing confidence in the university’s academic standing, advanced infrastructure, and educational capabilities that qualify it to host major regional scientific events.
