The Quality Assurance Framework at the College of Medicine is designed to ensure continuous enhancement of academic performance, institutional effectiveness, and healthcare education outcomes. The framework encompasses the following key areas:

Roles and Responsibilities

The Accreditation and Quality Assurance Unit promotes a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the College. Its key responsibilities include:

1. Implementing quality assurance policies and accreditation requirements.

2. Monitoring academic and administrative quality standards.

3. Coordinating institutional self-evaluation and quality reports.

4. Supporting academic departments in quality improvement initiatives.

5. Monitoring institutional performance indicators.

6. Promoting quality awareness among faculty, students, and staff.

Laboratory Quality Assurance

The College is committed to maintaining high-quality laboratory education by ensuring compliance with safety regulations, Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), and institutional quality standards.

Key activities include:

ü Monitoring laboratory quality standards.

ü Equipment maintenance and calibration.

ü Documentation of laboratory procedures.

ü Internal quality audits.

ü Laboratory safety and risk management.

ü Continuous improvement of laboratory performance.
