The Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Subtain University of Medical Sciences is a dynamic academic hub dedicated to exploring the microscopic world and the complexities of the immune system, providing comprehensive education that bridges foundational biomedical sciences with clinical application. Laboratories and Facilities

The department is equipped with three specialized laboratories:

• Two teaching laboratories for microscopy, culture techniques, and diagnostic training
• One advanced research laboratory with molecular diagnostics and BSL-2 containment, supporting infectious disease research and future cell culture expansion

Role in Clinical Training

The department provides foundational knowledge in infection, inflammation, and immunology. It does not directly participate in clinical training rotations but supports clinical education through strong integration with basic medical sciences.
