Scientific and Humanitarian Visit to Imam Al-Hassan Al-Mujtaba Hospital for Cardiac Surgery and Catheterization

As part of the extracurricular activities organized by the College of Medicine at Alsubtain.University for Medical Sciences (PBUH), students participated in a scientific and humanitarian visit to Imam Al-Hassan Al-Mujtaba Hospital for Cardiac Surgery and Catheterization.

The visit aimed to enhance students’ clinical exposure and provide them with valuable insights into modern cardiac care practices. During the tour, students were introduced to the hospital’s specialized departments and learned about advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures used in cardiac surgery and interventional cardiology.

In addition to its educational objectives, the visit included a humanitarian initiative in which students met with hospitalized children and presented gifts to them, bringing joy and emotional support during their treatment journey. This activity reflected the values of compassion, empathy, and patient-centered care that constitute essential principles of the medical profession.

Such activities contribute to developing students’ professional skills while strengthening their sense of social responsibility and human connection, preparing them to become competent and compassionate future physicians.
