The College of Medicine at Al-Subtain University periodically launches developmental programs aimed at enhancing academic performance levels and elevating the quality of medical practice. The university’s CME program focuses on:

·        International Conferences and Innovation: Organizing events such as the International Symposium on Undergraduate Medical Education Conference (ISUMEC) and international seminars that bring together experts from inside and outside Iraq to discuss mechanisms for developing medical education and integrating technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) into healthcare.

·        Advanced and Reflective Skills Workshops: The university uniquely focuses on training physicians and students in clinical stages on "Reflective Learning" as a tool for professional growth and enhancing critical thinking. ·        Al-Subtain Applied Hospital: A teaching hospital within the university campus, considered the first of its kind in Iraq. ·        Advanced Laboratories: The university houses more than 52 educational laboratories equipped to the highest global specifications (such as physiology and basic sciences laboratories).

·        Imam Zain Al-Abideen (PBUH) Specialized Hospital: One of the pivotal hospitals where students train in general and specialized surgeries (such as cardiac catheterization and surgery, emergency medicine, and internal medicine) utilizing the latest medical equipment.

·        Warith International Cancer Institute: Provides students and physicians with the opportunity to study the latest international oncology protocols and train on advanced radiological and diagnostic equipment.

·        Al-Sayyida Khadija Al-Kubra (PBUH) Hospital for Women: A specialized training center for obstetrics, gynecology, and pediatrics, where students acquire critical clinical skills related to maternal and child care.

·        Dr. Ahmed Al-Waeli Hospital: A medical landmark that supports training in cardiology specialties and specialized surgical procedures.
